Abstract

Pesatnya pertumbuhan dan tingginya laju urbaninsasi di Kota Cirebon, mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan tutupan lahan, dari area bervegetasi menjadi daerah terbangun. Sehingga, dari perubahan tersebut akan berdampak pada kondisi iklim dan cuaca di kawasan perkotaan sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya fenomena Urban Heat Island (UHI). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi perubahan kerapatan vegetasi, suhu permukaan tanah, dan hubungan kerapatan vegetasi terhadap keberadaan fenomena UHI di Kota Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan ialah LST, NDVI, dan ambang batas (threshold) untuk mengetahui nilai UHI. Pemantauan fenomena ini diperlukan di perkotaan yang mengalami perkembangan pesat, termasuk di Kota Cirebon. Pada hasil penelitian, perubahan kerapatan vegetasi diperoleh secara nilai kerapatan vegetasi menurun pada tahun 2022 dibandingkan dengan tahun 2016. Uji akurasi data dilakukan melalui kenampakan dari citra Google Earth Pro, pada tahun 2016 Overall Accuracy (OA) = 95,45% dan tahun 2022 Overall Accuracy (OA) = 88,64% atau artinya sudah menenuhi standar >85%. Sedangkan, hasil pengolahan LST menunjukkan penurunan nilai minimum dan maksimum pada tahun 2022 dibandingkan pada tahun 2016. Kemudian, hubungan kerapatan vegetasi terhadap fenomena UHI diuji regresi linear sederhana pada tahun 2016 diperoleh nilai R² = 0,4116, sedangkan pada tahun 2022 nilai R² = 0,2386. Nilai koefisien kerapatan vegetasi bernilai negatif, sehingga memiliki pengaruh berbanding terbalik dengan UHI, yang berarti semakin tinggi kerapatan vegetasinya maka UHI semakin rendah. The rapid growth and high rate of urbanization in Cirebon City, resulting in changes in land cover, from vegetated areas to built-up areas. Thus, these changes will have an impact on climate and weather conditions in urban areas, causing the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of changes in vegetation density, land surface temperature, and the relationship between vegetation density and the presence of the UHI phenomenon in Cirebon City. The methods used are LST, NDVI, and threshold to determine the value of UHI. Monitoring of this phenomenon is necessary in urban areas that are experiencing rapid development, including in Cirebon City. In the results of the study, changes in vegetation density were obtained in the value of vegetation density decreased in 2022 compared to 2016. The data accuracy test was carried out through the appearance of Google Earth Pro images, in 2016 Overall Accuracy (OA) = 95.45% and in 2022 Overall Accuracy (OA) = 88.64% or meaning that it has met the standard> 85%. Meanwhile, the LST processing results show a decrease in minimum and maximum values in 2022 compared to 2016. Then, the relationship between vegetation density and the UHI phenomenon was tested by simple linear regression in 2016 obtained a value of R² = 0.4116, while in 2022 the value of R² = 0.2386. The coefficient value of vegetation density is negative, so it has an inverse effect on UHI, which means that the higher the vegetation density, the lower the UHI.
