Abstract
ABSTRAK Penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam proses pembelajaran termasuk pada kegiatan sains menjadi salah satu alternatif guru untuk dapat menstimulasi keterampilan abad ke-21 yaitu 4Cs (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication) pada anak. Pendekatan saintifik adalah suatu pendekatan ilmiah yang dirancang sedemikian rupa supaya anak dengan aktif mengontruksi kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan dengan tahapan mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, menalar, dan mengkomunikasikan.Tujuan penilitian ini untuk mengetahui rencana sekaligus pelaksanaan dari kegiatan sains yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran abad 21 di TK Al- Madina. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisyang digunakan: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penilitian ini yaitu guru melakukan perencanaan kegiatan sains dengan menyesuaikan perkembangan anak dengan memilih jenis kegiatan yang mudah bagi anak, pelaksanaan pendekatan saintifik dalam kegiatan sains di TK Al-Madina sudah terlaksana dengan baik terlihat guru telah berhasil menerapkan lima proses saintifik selama kegiatan sains berlangsung. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan lima proses saintifik 5M dalam kegiatan sains dapat menstimulasi keterampilan abad 21 4Cs (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication). Hal tersebut terwujud ketika anak mampu mengajukan pertanyaan apa dan mengapa terhadap suatu objek, mampu berkolaborasi dengan teman dalam membereskan tempat kegiatan, dan berani menyampaikan apa yang sudah dilakukan secara lisan. Kata Kunci: Kegiatan Sains, Pembelajaran Abad 21, Pendekatan Saintifik ABSTRACT The application of scientific approaches in the learning process including science activities is one of the alternatives for teachers to be able to stimulate 21st-century skills, namely the 4Cs (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication) in children. The scientific approach is designed in such a way that children actively construct competent attitudes, knowledge, and skills with stages of observing, questioning, collecting information, reasoning, and communicating. The purpose of this research is to find out the plan as well as the implementation of science activities carried out with a scientific approach in realizing 21st-century learning in Al-Madina Kindergarten. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection of this study by interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the analyzed data are used:for data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that teachers plan science activities by adjusting children's development by choosing types of activities that are easy for children, the implementation of scientific approaches in science activities at Al-Madina Kindergarten has been carried out well, and it can be seen that teachers have succeeded in applying five scientific processes during science activities. The conclusion of this study is that applying the five scientific processes of 5M in science activities can stimulate 21st-century 4Cs skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication). This is realized when children can ask questions of what and why to an object, collaborate with friends to clean up the place of activity and dare to convey what has been done verbally.
