Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui K-Means clustering dapat digunakan sebagai alat perhitungan selanjutnya dalam menentukan financial distress pada perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan sub-sektor hotel, restoran dan pariwisata yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2021. Populasi sebanyak 39 dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 28 perusahaan. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan yang diperoleh dari www.idx.co.id dan situs tiap perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menghitung terlebih dahulu nilai dari model Altman Modifikasi, model Zavgren, dan model Zmijewski dengan excel lalu data tersebut digunakan untuk menghitung K-Means Clustering menggunakan software Orange Data Mining. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat 2 kelompok atau cluster yang diperoleh, cluster 1 perusahaan tergolong sehat dan cluster 2 perusahaan tergolong financial distress. Dari hasil analisis dengan menghitung tingkat akurasi diketahui bahwa analisis model Altman Modifikasi dan model Zavgren dengan K-Means Clustering cocok digunakan pada perusahaan sub-sektor hotel, restoran dan pariwisata karena memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi. Sedangkan model Zmijewski dengan K-Means Clustering kurang cocok digunakan pada perusahaan sub-sektor hotel, restoran dan pariwisata karena memiliki tingkat akurasi yang rendah. ; This study aims to determine if K-Means clustering can be used as a further calculation tool in determining financial distress in companies. This research was conducted on hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The population is 39 and a sample of 28 companies is obtained. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports obtained from www.idx.co.id and each company's website. The method used in this study is to first calculate the values of the Modified Altman model, Zavgren model, and Zmijewski model with excel then the data is used to calculate K-Means Clustering using Orange Data Mining software. From the research results, there are 2 groups or clusters obtained, cluster 1 companies are classified as healthy and cluster 2 companies are classified as financial distress. From the results of the analysis by calculating the level of accuracy it is known that the Modified Altman model analysis and the Zavgren model with K-Means Clustering are suitable for use in the hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector companies because they have a high level of accuracy. Meanwhile, the Zmijewski model with K-Means Clustering is not suitable for use in hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector companies because it has a low level of accuracy.
