Abstract

PENGARUH METODE ASERTIF TERHADAP PENURUNAN PERILAKU AGRESI FISIK ANAK DENGAN HAMBATAN KECERDASAN SEDANG DI SLB YPLAB LEMBANG (Nisrina Zohen, 1900903) Anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan mengalami gangguan dalam berinteraksi sosial. Anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi yang akan memicu timbulnya masalah perilaku, salah satunya perilaku agresif. Perilaku agresi fisik seperti memukul dan mendorong pada anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan terjadi karena dampak dari kurangnya perkembangan sosial anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sehingga mereka tidak mampu untuk menunjukkan atau mengekpresikan marah dan emosinya dengan benar. Dari hal tersebut, maka diperlukannya pembinaan untuk mengurangi perilaku agresi agar anak dapat mengungkapkan setiap perasaan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi sekaligus mendapatkan penyelesaian yang adaptif, sehingga mereka tidak merugikan orang lain dan diri sendiri serta dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungannya. Peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode asertif terhadap penurunan perilaku agresi fisik anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sedang di SLB YPLAB Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan eksperimen single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A’. Fase baseline-1 dilakukan sebanyak 3 sesi, fase intervensi sebanyak 5 sesi, dan fase baseline-2 dilakukan sebanyak 3 sesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi metode asertif berpengaruh dalam menurunkan perilaku agresi fisik anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sedang. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan penurunan nilai mean dari setiap fase. Mean level yang didapatkan pada fase intervensi (B) lebih kecil dibandingkan pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) dan mean level fase baseline-2 (A-2) lebih kecil dibandingkan mean level intervensi (B). Kata kunci: Anak dengan Hambatan Kecerdasan Sedang; Metode Asertif; Perilaku Agresi Fisik.   THE EFFECT OF ASSERTIVE METHODS ON REDUCING PHYSICAL AGGRESSION BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN WITH MODERATE INTELLIGENCE BARRIERS IN SLB YPLAB LEMBANG (Nisrina Zohen, 1900903) Children with intelligence barriers experience problems in social interaction. Kids with intelligence barriers tend to have difficulty in managing their emotions that will trigger behavioral problems. One of which is aggressive behaviors. Physical aggression behaviors such as spanking and pushing in children with intelligence barriers occur as an impact of their lack of social development, so that they are unable to show or express anger and emotions properly. From this, coaching is needed to reduce aggressive behaviors so that children can express every feeling and problem faced while getting adaptive solutions. so that they do not harm others and themselves and can adjust to their environment. Therefore, these children will not harm others nor themselves, and can adjust to their environment. Researcher is interested in conducting a study that aims to determine the effect of assertive methods on reducing physical aggressive behaviors of children with moderate intelligence barriers in SLB YPLAB Lembang. This study uses quantitative approach and experimental method with single subject research (SSR) experimental design with A-B-A' design. The baseline-1 phase was conducted in 3 sessions, intervention phase was carried out in 5 session, and baseline-2 phase was conducted 3 times. The results showed that assertive method intervention had an effect in reducing the physical aggression behaviors of children with moderate intelligence barriers. This can be seen based on the decrease of the mean value in every phase. Mean level resulted from intervention (B) phase is smaller than in baseline-1 (A-1) phase. And mean level in baseline-2 (A-) is smaller than mean level in intervention (B). Mean level resulted from intervention (B) phase is smaller than in baseline-1 (A-1) phase.
