Abstract

Kerja Bengkel dan Gambar Teknik merupakan mata pelajaran wajib di Program Keahlian Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. Dalam pembelajarannya, siswa diberikan tugas yang bersifat individu, maka siswa dituntut untuk memahami tugas gambar teknik tersebut agar dapat mengerjakan tugasnya dengan baik dan benar. Namun setelah dilakukan observasi lapangan dan melihat nilai mata pelajaran kerja bengkel dan gambar teknik pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 didapatkan bahwa sebagian siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahai tugas tersebut sehingga nilainya belum memenuhi KKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kesulitan siswa dalam memahami tugas gambar teknik dan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam memahami tugas gambar teknik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang disebar kepada 104 siswa kelas X Mekatronika tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan siswa dalam memahami tugas gambar teknik di kelas X Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi tergolong tinggi. Adapun faktor dominan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami tugas tersebut terdapat pada indikator pancaindra dan kefokusan siswa, selanjutnya indikator disiplin waktu, metode mengajar guru, fasilitas kondisi ruangan, dan bakat siswa dalam gambar teknik. Workshop Work and Technical Drawing are compulsory subjects in the Mechatronics Expertise Program of SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. In learning, students are given individual assignments, so they are required to understand the technical drawing assignments so that they can do their assignments properly and correctly. However, after field observations and looking at the grades of workshop work and technical drawing subjects in the 2022/2023 school year, it was found that some students had difficulty understanding the assignment, so their grades did not meet the KKM. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of students' difficulties in understanding engineering drawing assignments and to find out what factors cause students to have difficulty understanding engineering drawing assignments. The approach used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection using a questionnaire distributed to 104 students of class X Mechatronics in the 2022/2023 academic year at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. The results of this study indicate thatstudents difficulties in understanding technical drawing assignments in class X Mechtronics at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi are high. The dominant factors contributing to students' difficulties in understanding the assignment are found in the indicators of five senses and student focus, followed by indicators of time discipline, teacher teaching methods, room condition facilities, and student talent in technical drawing.
