Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yakni belum optimalnya kompetensi guru SMK Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis di Kabupaten Bandung Barat sehingga diperlukan adanya pelatihan bagi para guru untuk menjadi guru yang lebih kompeten. Pelatihan dirancang untuk mewujudkan dan mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapakan oleh penyelenggara pelatihan maupun para peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini yakni 34 guru pada 6 SMK di Kabupaten Bandung Barat sebagai responden primer. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan modus, dan dianalisis secara inferensial melalui regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berada pada kategori efektif dan kompetensi guru berada pada kategori kompeten. Kegiatan Pelatihan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru. The problem studied in this research is that the competence of teachers at the Office Management and Business Services Vocational School in West Bandung Regency is not yet optimal, so training is needed for teachers to become more competent teachers. Training is designed to realize and achieve the goals set by the training organizer and the participants who take part in the training. The research method used is a survey with a quantitative approach. The number of respondents in this research was 34 teachers at 6 vocational schools in West Bandung Regency as primary respondents. Data were analyzed descriptively using mode, and analyzed inferentially through simple regression. The research results show that training is in the effective category and teacher competency is in the competent category. Training activities have a positive and significant influence on teacher competency
