Abstract

Pada pembelajaran Matematika materi ajar Pengukuran di Sekolah Dasar seringkali belum mencapai tujuan dengan baik yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya daya serap kognitif siswa dalam memahami materi juga belum berkembangnya model pembelajaran dan banyaknya siswa yang pasif pada saat pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas matematika siswa kelas IV setelah diterapkan pendekatan cooperative learning tipe jigsaw. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV A SDN 4 Nagrikaler dengan jumlah siswa 27 siswa terdiri dari 14 orang laki-laki dan 13 orang perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan awal (pretest) hasil belajar, soal tes evaluasi (posttest) hasil belajar, LKPD, lembar observasi, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian, dalam menggunakan pendekatan Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw pada aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yang sangat baik pada setiap siklusnya. Pencapaian hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan persentase 70,37% kategori “Baik” dan siklus II dengan persentase 96,29% kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika, serta model ini dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran lainnya. ----- In learning Mathematics, the teaching material for Measurement in Elementary Schools often does not reach its goals properly due to the low cognitive absorption of students in understanding the material as well as the undeveloped learning model and the large number of students who are passive when the learning activities take place. The purpose of the research is to find out the increase in learning outcomes and mathematical activity of fourth- grade students after the approach is applied cooperative learning type jigsaw. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research by adapting the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. The research subjects were class IV A students at SDN 4 Nagrikaler with a total of 27 students consisting of 14 boys and 13 girls. The instrument used was a matter of initial ability test (pretest) learning outcomes, evaluation test questions (posttest) learning outcomes, LKPD, observation sheet, and documentation. Based on the research findings, in using the approach Cooperative Learning typeJigsaw in student activity experienced a very good increase in each cycle. Achievement of student learning outcomes in cycle I with a percentage of 70.37% in the "Good" category and cycle II with a percentage of 96.29% in the "Very Good" category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the approach Cooperative Learning type Jigsaw can improve learning outcomes and student activity in learning Mathematics, and this model can be applied to other learning.
