Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan media sosial youtube terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negri 1 Wanayasa Kabupaten Purwakarta pada mata pelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya (SBdP). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimental design yang merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik total sampling dengan sampel yang diambil yaitu Kelas IVA berjumlah 18 siswa dan Kelas IVB berjumlah 18 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan rumus uji t dengan sampel siswa kelas IVA dan IVB. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media sosial youtube terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Negri 1 Wanayasa Kabupaten Purwakarta pada mata pelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya (SBdP), dengan hasil uji hipotesis yaitu thitung > ttabel (3,80 > 2,02) yang berarti hipotesis kerja (Ha) dalam penelitian ini diterima, sedangkan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak. ----- This research is focused on knowing whether or not there is an effect of using social media YouTube on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negri 1 Wanayasa, Purwakarta Regency in the subject of art and culture (SBdP). This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design approach which is a study that uses control and experimental groups. Sampling was taken using total sampling technique with the samples taken, namely Class IVA totaling 18 students and Class IVB totaling 18 students. The data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the t-test formula with a sample of class IVA and IVB students. The results of this study are that there is an effect of the use of social media YouTube on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negri 1 Wanayasa, Purwakarta Regency in arts and crafts subjects (SBdP), with the results of the hypothesis test, namely tcount > ttable (3.80 > 2, 02) which means the working hypothesis (Ha) in this study is accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.
